Four Israeli Ministers Fired for Rejecting Economic Plan
Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon sacked Monday night four of the five Shas ministers, and all of the party's deputy ministers, following the ultra-Orthodox party's refusal to support his emergency economic plan, local reports said.
Israel Denies Any Link to Car Bombing in Lebanon
An Israeli official closed to Defense Minister Binyamin Ben Eliezer denied Monday afternoon any connection to a car bombing that killed a Palestinian guerrilla leader's son in Beirut, Lebanon.
