JERUSALEM, June 13 (Xinhua) -- Air defense sirens were activated in wide areas in central and northern Israel following the launch of missiles from Iran, according to a statement issued by the Israel Defense Forces.
Explosions were heard over Jerusalem and Israel's coastal city of Tel Aviv, according to Xinhua reporters. ■
