BEIJING, Jan. 3 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.6 jolted Chile-Argentina Border Region at 0804 GMT on Wednesday, the GFZ German Research Center for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 191.6 km, was initially determined to be at 28.48 degrees south latitude and 69.25 degrees west longitude. ■
